My husband and I were given a very nice set of king mattresses before our move to base. We put them in the basement on some tubs, but during an awful rain storm the basement flooded and about a foot of the mattresses and box springs got wet. They’ve been drying out for about 3 weeks now & they are still damp and sort of smell mildewy (I haven’t tried any hardcore cleaning however), we are moving in 2 days. I need to get them clean, any suggestions. Or do you think they are shot?

My current mattress is extremely uncomfortable – the springs poke up so badly that I currently sleep ‘Princess and the Pea’ style with my double duvet folded in half, sleep on TOP of that and then use a single duvet. Thank goodness I’m single at the moment so I can do that, but if I meet someone, there’s no way we could sleep on my mattress. SO I’m looking for a topper as I am staying in this accommodation for another year and the landlord refuses to buy me a new mattress (I’ve been asking for two years…)

That’s a good point, and I do fidget a lot in the night so probably not a genius idea to get one that remembers where I’ve been!

I need a new mattress (full) as the one I now have is quite old. I tried laying on several different ones at two different stores (mattress depot & mattress giant). They all feel comfortable but the price range is all over the place. I checked out the "buyer comments" on the internet for the "king koil" mattresses and most comments were very critical.

I need to shop for a new mattress & a neighbor of mine is selling a brand new Stearns & Foster Camdenhurst Plush king-sized mattress with box spring for ,250. Would anyone know if this is a good price?

I am due october 8th, its real soon & i know babies can sometimes come before, i am starting to worry because i dont have all the things my baby needs ready, and theres so much out there but im not sure what you really need, and what are just luxuries.

Do i really need a waterproof crib pad?
Do i really need changing pad covers?

I can go on for ever so please tell me what i really need, so far i have lots of clothes i got alot of that as gifts, so i woudlnt worry about any clothing, i have more than enough blankets, i also have the crib with mattress & crib bedding set. I have bibs, burp clothes, bath essentials, diaper rash cream, wash clothes, hooded towels, stroller, i still need a car seat so what else do i need?

I purchased an adjustable bed (without the mattress, remote or manual) at a closeout sale recently. I ordered the remote from Leggett & Platt (Makers of the bed) but I cannot find a place to plug in the remote. How can I find this information online or view a user’s manual online? I’ve searched but cannot find anything. The bed is a Tempurpedic S cape model number 81908 made in 04/06. Thanks.
